As we wrap up another incredible school year, our staff had a blast closing it out with a little friendly competition at our teacher pickleball tournament! 🏓💙 From all of us at NDC, we wish our students, families, and community a safe, relaxing, and blessed summer. Students in Alternative Games put their creativity to the test by playing games they designed entirely from scratch! From brainstorming and rule creation to testing and refining, students had the opportunity to bring their ideas to life and see others enjoy their creations. What a fun way to combine creativity, problem-solving, and play!

Students became the teachers in Grade 8 Math to help review for their exams. Using topics from the curriculum, students created posters, videos, video games, presentations, and escape rooms to help their classmates prepare for the exam. Through teaching others, they reinforced their own understanding of key mathematical concepts while creating engaging review activities for the class.

Our Outdoor Education students wrapped up the year with an end-of-year hike! It was a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, spend time together, and reflect on a year full of adventure, learning, and new experiences. What a wonderful way to finish the year! 🐺💙☀️

From organizing books and assisting students with Chromebooks to carrying textbooks and tackling countless other tasks, Phoenix has been a tremendous support throughout the year. His helpful attitude, reliability, and willingness to serve others have made a lasting impact, and the library has been an even more welcoming place because of him.
