The Senior Varsity Girls hosted their final regular-season home game in the Timberwolf Gym this week. 🏀💙 Graduating players were honored on Seniors Night with heartfelt words from coaches and teammates, along with thoughtful gifts from their families. It’s been an incredible season filled with growth, leadership, and heart. Let’s keep cheering them on as they head into the final weeks of Basketball 2026! 🐺🔥

Huge congratulations to the JrA Girls Basketball team for finishing 1st in Tier 2 in their league this season! 🥇🏀 The team battled hard all year, grew together, and showed incredible heart on the court. Father Marius extends a heartfelt thank you to all the NDC students who volunteered at the St. Francis de Sales Parish Valentine’s Dinner. 💕 Your energy, kindness, and willingness to serve helped make the evening truly special and brought so much joy to the parish community. What a beautiful example of faith in action—well done, Timberwolves! 💙✝️

Congratulations to Mrs. Renaud on receiving the Christian Witness Award at Faith Days this year! ✨🙏 This award recognizes a staff member who exemplifies faith-filled leadership and joyfully lives out the Gospel in the school community. NDC is so blessed by the witness and example shared each day. 💙✝️

Music Ministry spent a meaningful day on retreat at St. Francis de Sales this week. 🎶🙏 The group spent time in the Word, practiced music for Mass and upcoming celebrations, and took time to grow deeper in faith and community. What a beautiful way to strengthen both ministry and mission.

Yesterday was Twin Day at NDC! From twins to triplets to full group outfits, the creativity was on full display. So many fun matches and great energy throughout the halls! Take a peek at some of the awesome looks! 💙🐺

🇨🇦🏒 What a game and what an atmosphere! The NDC gym was filled with incredible energy, fun games, and so much Canadian pride as we watched Canada vs. USA in the 2026 Winter Olympics Women’s Hockey game. Huge thank you to everyone who helped plan the watch party, our volunteers, and all who came out to cheer and celebrate together! 💙🐺

The NDC curling team had an awesome showing at divisionals this week, finishing with a 2nd place result after a close and exciting final game against HTA! We’re very proud of the team’s hard work, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the competition. A big thank you to Mrs. Pittman for coaching and supporting the team. Hey wolves! Reminder that there is no classes on Monday and Tuesday for Senior High (grade 10-12) students. Junior high (grade 7-9) will run as normal.

The JrA Girls earned SILVER to finish this weekend at HCC after close, hard-fought games. Their heart and determination were on full display. Way to go, Wolves! 🐺🥈

A small gesture for a big impact 💐Celebrating our incredible Educational Assistants who help our school bloom. Their dedication, kindness, and daily support make a difference in so many lives and our school wouldn’t be the same without them. Happy EA Appreciation! Our High School Business class had the pleasure of welcoming back NDC graduate Josh, who is now working with Lethbridge Polytechnic and AgENT, along with his colleague Colby. They led an engaging session on Human-Centered Design Thinking, exploring innovation and entrepreneurship, and guided students through a pitch competition with prizes. The class was excited to put their learning into action and were inspired by the success of a fellow NDC graduate after graduation.

NDC was proud to support the Magic of Christmas, an organization that provides toys to children in need. 🎄🎁 Staff members drew names and purchased a gift they felt their recipient would have loved as a child. After opening the gifts together, they were donated back to the Magic of Christmas to help brighten a child’s holiday. Merry Christmas to all!

Huge thank you to our amazing Leadership Team for filling NDC with school spirit this holiday season! 🎄✨ From a fun-filled Spirit Week to all the behind-the-scenes work, we are so grateful for everything you do to bring our school community together.

Our Annual Christmas Dodgeball Tournament has come to a close! 🎄🏐 Thank you to everyone who participated and donated gifts to the Magic of Christmas — your generosity truly made the season brighter.

Our High School Outdoor Education class took on the challenge of bouldering in Calgary! 🧗‍♂️💪 Building strength, problem-solving skills, and confidence while having a great time outside the classroom.

Merry Christmas from School Council! School council brought cookies for everyone today! Thank you School Council for making our day merry and bright.

Our Sr Foods class baked a delicious Strawberry Brita Cake — a classic Finnish summer dessert! 🍓 With a buttery cake base, meringue baked on top, and layers of whipped cream and fresh berries, it was as beautiful as it was tasty.

Some Spirit Week silliness at NDC! Today was Dress Like a Teacher Day, and we couldn’t help but notice a lot of Mrs. Dudgeons running around the school.

Our Senior Art students recently completed an air-dry clay slab project, with designs increasing in complexity at each level. Students sketched, molded, dried, and finished their pieces with acrylic paint—showcasing creativity and skill at every stage. 🎨 Art 10: Clay envelope designs 🐉 Art 20: Fairy doors or dragon eyes 📦 Art 30: Decorative boxes Beautiful work from our talented artists!

High school Foods class had some festive fun making Fat Santa cookies! 🎅🍪

Phys-Ed class hit the trails for some snowshoeing fun—embracing winter and staying active outdoors! ❄️👟

Students hard at work in their Christmas Literary Circles—reading, discussing, and sharing ideas as they wrap up the season together! 📚🎄

Thank you to all the classes who participated in our annual door decorating contest!
