Students in Alternative Games put their creativity to the test by playing games they designed entirely from scratch! From brainstorming and rule creation to testing and refining, students had the opportunity to bring their ideas to life and see others enjoy their creations. What a fun way to combine creativity, problem-solving, and play!

Students became the teachers in Grade 8 Math to help review for their exams. Using topics from the curriculum, students created posters, videos, video games, presentations, and escape rooms to help their classmates prepare for the exam. Through teaching others, they reinforced their own understanding of key mathematical concepts while creating engaging review activities for the class.

Our Outdoor Education students wrapped up the year with an end-of-year hike! It was a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, spend time together, and reflect on a year full of adventure, learning, and new experiences. What a wonderful way to finish the year! 🐺💙☀️

🌟 Made for Greatness 🌟 Phoenix has spent many of his spares helping in the library, always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. From organizing books and assisting students with Chromebooks to carrying textbooks and tackling countless other tasks, Phoenix has been a tremendous support throughout the year. His helpful attitude, reliability, and willingness to serve others have made a lasting impact, and the library has been an even more welcoming place because of him. Thank you, Phoenix, for showing what it means to be Made for Greatness. 💙🐺

🎉☀️ Family Fest 2026 was a fantastic celebration of community! From food trucks and live music to dancers, games, and plenty of family fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy. A huge thank you to our Parent Council for organizing such an incredible event, to all of our volunteers for making it possible, and to our Fine Arts students for sharing their talents. What a wonderful day to be part of the NDC family! 💙🐺🎶🍔🎨

Dear Grads of 2026, Today marks your last day of classes at NDC. It feels like just yesterday you walked through these halls for the first time, and now you are preparing to begin a new chapter. Alway remember the memories, the laughter, the leadership, and the impact you have left on our school. We are so proud of who you have become and can’t wait to see where God leads you next. Once a Timberwolf, always a Timberwolf. 🐺✝️🎓💙

🎬🍿 Mr. Farstad’s Movie Group enjoyed a trip to the theatre to watch Masters of the Universe! It was great to see students share their love of movies beyond the classroom, and we were thrilled to have three parents join us for the experience as well. What a fun outing for our movie enthusiasts! 🎥🐺💙

What a special moment from our Year End Band Concert and Music Awards! To close out the evening, our graduating musicians had the opportunity to lead the entire Grade 7–12 band in one final song together. It was a beautiful and memorable celebration of their years in the NDC music program and the impact they have had on our band community. More photos from this incredible night are still to come! 💙🎵🐺🎓

Monday’s Spirit Week theme was Formal Monday! The halls were filled with sharp suits, beautiful dresses, and plenty of style. It was great to see so many students and staff dressing up and helping us kick off the week in such a classy way. Check out some of the wonderful outfits! 💙🐺🎩👗

🌟 Made for Greatness 🌟 Congratulations to Constantine, King, and Hyacinth for being recognized in our Made for Greatness campaign! These three students exemplify the values that make NDC such a special place. Constantine is known for treating others with respect, working hard through challenges, and using leadership to positively influence those around him. King leads by example through humility, compassion, and encouragement, helping others grow in confidence both in the classroom and through athletics. Hyacinth consistently lifts others up with kindness and support, creating a welcoming environment and demonstrating incredible perseverance, compassion, and dedication in all areas of life. Each of these students makes a meaningful impact on those around them through their character, leadership, and care for others. Thank you for showing us what it means to be Made for Greatness. 💙🐺

🥉 Huge congratulations to Valentina on an outstanding performance at the Alberta High School Track & Field Provincials last weekend! Valentina earned a Bronze Medal in Junior Women’s Triple Jump and set a new personal best of 10.82m. What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to all the hard work and dedication put in throughout the season. Way to represent NDC with pride! 💙🐺

🏒🐺 Another year, another great Ball Hockey Tournament! Students and staff battled it out in a fun and competitive matchup, with plenty of laughs and school spirit along the way. Congratulations to the teachers for defending their title and coming away with the win! 🏆👏 Thank you to everyone who participated and cheered on the teams. It was a fantastic way to celebrate together.
