🎉☀️ Family Fest 2026 was a fantastic celebration of community! From food trucks and live music to dancers, games, and plenty of family fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy. A huge thank you to our Parent Council for organizing such an incredible event, to all of our volunteers for making it possible, and to our Fine Arts students for sharing their talents. What a wonderful day to be part of the NDC family! 💙🐺🎶🍔🎨

Dear Grads of 2026, Today marks your last day of classes at NDC. It feels like just yesterday you walked through these halls for the first time, and now you are preparing to begin a new chapter. Alway remember the memories, the laughter, the leadership, and the impact you have left on our school. We are so proud of who you have become and can’t wait to see where God leads you next. 🎬🍿 Mr. Farstad’s Movie Group enjoyed a trip to the theatre to watch Masters of the Universe! It was great to see students share their love of movies beyond the classroom, and we were thrilled to have three parents join us for the experience as well. What a fun outing for our movie enthusiasts! 🎥🐺💙

What a special moment from our Year End Band Concert and Music Awards! To close out the evening, our graduating musicians had the opportunity to lead the entire Grade 7–12 band in one final song together. It was a beautiful and memorable celebration of their years in the NDC music program and the impact they have had on our band community. Monday’s Spirit Week theme was Formal Monday! The halls were filled with sharp suits, beautiful dresses, and plenty of style. It was great to see so many students and staff dressing up and helping us kick off the week in such a classy way. Check out some of the wonderful outfits! 💙🐺🎩👗

🌟 Made for Greatness 🌟 Congratulations to Constantine, King, and Hyacinth for being recognized in our Made for Greatness campaign! These three students exemplify the values that make NDC such a special place. Constantine is known for treating others with respect, working hard through challenges, and using leadership to positively influence those around him. King leads by example through humility, compassion, and encouragement, helping others grow in confidence both in the classroom and through athletics. Hyacinth consistently lifts others up with kindness and support, creating a welcoming environment and demonstrating incredible perseverance, compassion, and dedication in all areas of life. Each of these students makes a meaningful impact on those around them through their character, leadership, and care for others. Thank you for showing us what it means to be Made for Greatness. 💙🐺

🥉 Huge congratulations to Valentina on an outstanding performance at the Alberta High School Track & Field Provincials last weekend! Valentina earned a Bronze Medal in Junior Women’s Triple Jump and set a new personal best of 10.82m. What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to all the hard work and dedication put in throughout the season. Way to represent NDC with pride! 💙🐺

🏒🐺 Another year, another great Ball Hockey Tournament! Students and staff battled it out in a fun and competitive matchup, with plenty of laughs and school spirit along the way. Congratulations to the teachers for defending their title and coming away with the win! 🏆👏 Thank you to everyone who participated and cheered on the teams. It was a fantastic way to celebrate together.

We are incredibly grateful to Michelle from Rampage Volleyball for her generous donation to our school community. Your support makes a meaningful difference for our students and programs. A special thank you as well to Mrs. Renaud for taking the initiative to connect with Rampage Volleyball and make this opportunity possible. We are so appreciative of the care and commitment shown to our school.

Mr. Goodfellow’s High School Outdoor Ed class enjoyed a fantastic trip to the zoo! Students had the opportunity to explore, learn about wildlife, and connect classroom learning to the natural world. What a great day of hands-on learning and fun! 🐧🦒

ITS BACK ON! We are pleased to announce that the Soirée Musicale, our Senior High feature concert has been re-scheduled! Admission is by donation, and all proceeds go to support our students in their Festival and Trip experience. It features award-winning ensembles from our own local festival, and our iconic Panorama Steel Pans ensemble as well. You'll hear a wide range, everywhere from Michael Bublé to the Beatles, from Foo Fighters to Sonic the Hedgehog, from Karl King to The Greatest Show. And of course the feature ensemble, the Senior Wind Orchestra, whose entire program is filled with Canadian and Honour Band-Level content. A note to the members of performing ensembles of Panorama, Jazzberry Jam, the Imperfectionists, the St. Cecilia String Orchestra and Ensemble and the Senior Wind Orchestra, call time is 6:30 PM, with our regular concert attire. We will discuss further particulars in our rehearsals. We hope you can all be there and enjoy the incredible talents of our Senior students, and invite you to forward this event to all your friends and family!
